35 Years! We are very excited this year to offer $5,000 CASH PRIZE as our grand prize, this will be a huge event. Thank you to everyone who has helped support our fishing classic over the years. Remember that we have a one fish per category per ticket rule. You can look at the success it has had by noticing all the different winners in our fish categories, it spreads the prizes out more evenly. Please take the time to read our flyer for our minimum lengths required before bringing in your fish, our lengths are much larger than the state requirements. 

The Children's Division, which is to age 12, will be under the rule of one fish per category per ticket. This will also help disperse the prizes out to more chidren. in the children's division we are going to use the state minimum lengths to assure our awarding all prizes, consisting of "Fishing Gear". The chidren will still have to meet the derby minimum lengths required to compete in the adult division. For example,  the state requires a 12" bass length for a keeper, while we have an 18" minimum for our derby length. This will allow our yound angler who catches a 15" bass to compete for the children division, but it doesn't have the minimum length for our derby. If a child brings in an 18: bass, then they would also have a chance for the Leader Board prize money. The Children's Division Has A 2:00 p.m. Closing To Free Up For The 3:30 Closing Of The Derby. CHILDREN PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT 2:30.

Will Be Having The Cash Drawing for $250 At Noon
Midday Fish Category Leaders - $50 Per Each Category. Get your fish in by noon and have a chance at winning $50 by leading any of the fish categories.
HAVE DROPPED THE MINIMUM LENGTHS OF BASS TO 18".
INCREASED THE MINIMUM LENGTH OF PICKEREL TO 23".

We have the CLASSIC HITS 97.7 FM & 1250 AM (WARE RADIO) broadcasting a live update for the leader board weights. Please listen to this station as they will broadcast hourly updates for minimum lengths to surpass fish already weighed in. This is a tremendous conservation benefit allowing the fish to be released back into their own waters instead of bringing to the weigh station. The Broadcast Updates Will Be From Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Please take the time to use these services, releasing as many fish as possible helps guarantee future possibilities of catching that TROPHY fish in the years ahead. Winners will be posted on our website www.brookfieldslionclub.org. If you don't have access to a computer, the winners will be sent to all our store vendor locations.
 

Please help support our vendors who sell our tickets by purchasing your bait, supplies, equipment, etc. from these locations. They are a tremendous help in the sale of tickets.

This derby is a large undertaking by our club. Hundreds of hours are spent each year along with a heavy financial commitment by our club with no guarantee of recouping our investment. Please help support our event by purchasing a derby ticket ahead of time. The Brookfields' Lions Club depends heavily on this fundraiser to be able to give back to the Brookfield, East Brookfield, New Braintree, North Brookfield and West Brookfield communities. Monies raised will be spent by helping many less fortunate who depend greatly on our contributions. Please remember to get your vehicles off the road, be courteous to our neighbors in East Brookfield, Brookfield and other properties surrounding lakes and ponds, pick up after yourself and after someone else that may be less conscientous.
